iPhone 4G 프로토타입 유출

GIZMODO에서 오늘 유출된 iPhone 4G 프로토타입을 입수, 공개했다. http://gizmodo.com/5520164/this-is-apples-next-iphone

외관상으로 좀 더 각이 졌다는 점은 개인적으로 꽤 괜찮은 느낌이다. 4G에서 변경 및 신규 추가된 점은 :

What's new

• Front-facing video chat camera
• Improved regular back-camera (the lens is quite noticeably larger than the iPhone 3GS)
• Camera flash
• Micro-SIM instead of standard SIM (like the iPad)
• Improved display. It's unclear if it's the 960x640 display thrown around before—it certainly looks like it, with the "Connect to iTunes" screen displaying much higher resolution than on a 3GS.
• What looks to be a secondary mic for noise cancellation, at the top, next to the headphone jack
• Split buttons for volume
• Power, mute, and volume buttons are all metallic

What's changed

• The back is entirely flat, made of either glass (more likely) or ceramic or shiny plastic in order for the cell signal to poke through. Tapping on the back makes a more hollow and higher pitched sound compared to tapping on the glass on the front/screen, but that could just be the orientation of components inside making for a different sound
• An aluminum border going completely around the outside
• Slightly smaller screen than the 3GS (but seemingly higher resolution)
• Everything is more squared off
• 3 grams heavier
• 16% Larger battery
• Internals components are shrunken, miniaturized and reduced to make room for the larger battery

뒷 부분이 여전히 플라스틱 재질(?)인 점은 무선데이터 수신을 위해서인 것 같고. 전면 카메라의 채용과 후면 카메라 해상도 변경은 소비자의 요구를 받아들인 듯 하다.  무엇보다 배터리 용량의 증가 부분은 환영할만한 것이 아닌가 한다. 전반적으로 배터리 용량을 조금 더 키우기 위해 Micro SIM을 채용한다든가 부품 사이즈를 줄인게 아닌가 싶기도 하다.

원래 Engadget에서 동일한 외양의 유출 사진이 일본발 페이크라고 루머가 돌기도 했지만 GIZMODO에서는 여러 정황을 미루어이를 4G 프로토타입이라고 확신하고 있는 듯 하다.

어쨌건 2년 약정의 노예인 나는 3GS나 열심히 써야겠지 'ㅅ'
